Design and Technology at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵÍø

At Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵÍø, we want our children to develop their practical skills in DT and become confident and proficient with using different tools. We understand that the ability to plan, create and evaluate their work is something they will use in many aspects of their lives, and aim to give them the chance to explore this.

Disciplinary Knowledge Progression

Disciplinary knowledge focuses on the understanding required in order to develop the ability ‘to think like an designer and creator’. At Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵÍø, we have two key documents which outline this knowledge – they both contain the same information but one is organised by year group, whilst the other is organised by disciplinary thread.
